I realise that they may choose other teams but there seems to be a few that choose yours.

I also think that the grid people should lighten up. No-one forces anyone to give away their free clock cycles. If they wish to change to another folding/crunching project, they can do so of their free will.

I'm not used to this degree of mature level-headedness on a crunching forum.

This place is growing on me!

Re: What is up with Grid?

lol...methinks i found which dc project ud's really afraid of....someone asked what other dc project crunches for cancer. after all the random talk here and there about other projects, i figure it wouldn't hurt to post the name, as an informational post(FaD)....all of that got deleted. laughing oh well, the person that asked saw it before it was deleted. *shrug*

Me being mature. How did that happen ????

I had better change quickly! biggrin biggrin

Also all the talk of posts being deleted/closed on other forums will only help defections IMHO. If people want to communicate in a mature and open manner, then we should allow it. If I thought that posts here were being censored, then I would certainly be up in arms about it.

Re: What is up with Grid?

I'm also under pressure from my employer to run WCG over UD

Gordoma --

Let me also extend my greetings and welcome you to the WCG. You might want to look at the information regarding partnerships with the WCG at https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/our_partners.html and https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/viewBecomePartner.do. Your employer might gain more than the satisfaction of having contributed to humanity through partnering.

Good crunching to ya,

Hi Dave

Thanks for the warm welcome.

My employer is already on the partner list... hence the encouragement to run WCG.
biggrin
