SekeRob, thanks for the short cuts for suspending/resuming large numbers of WUs. I usually don't need to do this sort of thing with more than maybe 10-15 WUs occasionally, but the next time I need to do this I'll use your technique to save me time.

I wouldn't be so hasty with the last batch prediction Ingleside. Today has been nothing but a string of xxxxxxx_2 workunits which indicates that long caches are already reaching the timeout. If I'm getting nothing but resends others must be as well. AND, there's no prisoners taken. Saw one yesterday which had quorum, was still on the Result Status pages, then the "No Reply" completed, reported and was considered "Too Late". No credit! FAICD, the grace rule went out the window or was constraint, maybe as far back as when server 700 was introduced. |

Could run out of new work today leaving us with repair jobs. Just the tiniest amount of research and the smallest possible amount of effort provides you with:The current estimate shows a little over two weeks of new work to send out for Computing for Sustainable Water. Not all of the work is being loaded sequentially. Thanks, armstrdj [Sep 4, 2012 12:48:28 PM] |

I'm finishing up on 1 day's worth of CFSW WUs to get my gold badge either tonight or early tomorrow. Once I get my gold badge, I'll probably be releasing around 90 WUs at that time, so everyone still looking for those final WUs to get to their next badge goal can get something to crunch on. Given the release numbers of the WUs recently posted, it looks like the well of regular series work is just about run out, so my release will be just in time to give something to crunch on 9/08 for some other crunchers.

It seems as though I had tried doing this (using Ctrl-Shift) before to mark a group and it didn't work. I just verified that is not the case now so I can mark a large number of WUs fairly easily so I can suspend those WUs. This is the methodology I had been looking for so I would not have to do it "one at a time". |
