Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

Just did some quick calculations on the CFSW WUs I've got in Pending Validations and In Progess now and it appears I've now got enough in the pipeline that if I successfully crunch this outstanding work and it all completes to Valid during September, I should end up at roughly 91 hours total done and a Gold Badge. So I just cleared my advanced preferences to zero and will crunch away this week to finish everything I've now got in play to call this project a done deal for me. Looks to be a number of series out there being sent out to everyone since the techs fixed their latest problems, so hopefully everyone here is getting enough to get them to their badge goals over the next couple weeks. biggrin

Guilty as charged ... I grabbed about 50 more days myself earlier this morning cool
I should have a little more than I need and as I get closer to sapphire I'll look at turning some back over if I have any extra wink

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

Increased cache to five days on my work laptop, gonna do the same at home: with 30 CPU days left to getruby and 2-3 days of runtime per day, a badge is a challenge.

btw, that's my last WU:

Re: Computing for Sustainable Water project nearing completion

The server outage set me back... and since I ran out of CFSW WUs to crunch, I decided to crunch another project, GFAM, until CFSW came back to life. The problem is that the GFAM WU that was downloaded is huge (21 hours), so I have to wait until I plow through that WU before I can get to the CFSW WUs crying . Oh well... more excitement, never a dull moment biggrin .

CJSL

Crunching for a better future...
