Re: Server Errors.

I was able to upload all the pending ones and managed to download a few workunits as well.
Unfortunately, the problem seems to be back and now neither uploads nor downloads are working. :(

Re: Server Errors.

Why the Known issue forum is not update to cover it?

The project backoff is becoming so often.

Re: Server Errors.

Yep, same here. I'm sure the Techs will get to the bottom of the problem at some point though. Good luck with it guys. Rather you than me.

But maybe fun for the servers? ;-)
Anyway, no up/downloads here as well.

Yup, some time this morning the "fun" (not) started again. Several hosts stuck on uploading WUs again... :-(

Re: Server Errors.

In amongst the current "Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down" messages, I've noticed occasional "BOINC can't access Internet ..." messages. I've only once managed to catch this as it happened, and with a quick test of other web sites, ping to google, email retrieval, etc., my connection seemed rock solid. From my network logs, I believe that the Internet access check uses a port 80 request to 129.42.60.216, alias www.ibm.com. As my Internet connection seems good when this happens, why might the "BOINC can't access Internet ..." error be occurring?
