Looks like what ever the problem was it is no more. My uploads have resumed.

Starting to see upload errors again just in the past 30 minutes or so. Will let it sit and see if it recovers.

We have not resolved the issue that is periodically causing problems uploading and downloading files. The problem continues to appears and disappear periodically. The work we did on Friday was to make sure that scheduler requests and access to the website/forums was not hindered. We appreciate your continued reports however.

I had one of these yesterday that went away quickly on it's own, I got this one not long ago & it cleared up on it's own as well.  Not a deal breaker. Same problems here,
several hosts got stuck on uploading WUs, reporting a couple of already uploaded WUs went through though...  Ralf |

About 30-minutes ago, I had difficulty with the sync to the WCG-servers: my Ubu-machine can't upload CPU-based CFSW-WUs. The said machine is about to run dry of fresh WUs in about 60minutes.
What's going on, Houston? ; |

For me I can't upload any of my results but I am still able to download new results, so no chance at the moment of my machine going idle but could be a pain for anyone with report deadline approaching.

Ok, a few minutes back my Ubu-machine was able to sync with the WCG-servers: 100+ WUs were uploaded and 180+ downloaded. The sync-process were spiced with some 'hiccups' here and there, including the last (for-download) WU that was left hanging in the air. Eventually, the sync-process completed -- not the smoothest of WCG-sync rides though.
P.S. Makes me wonder if the WCG-Techs are cooking up something behind the scenes. Perhaps a 'schedule-your-own-sync-time-slot' capability for crunchers? ; |
