I am also still having this issue with uploading. Sometimes the work units end up having to retry for hours until I see it and then I click the "Retry Now" button. Often though (i.e. the past 2 days), this has no real effect on it working. It seems the servers still seem to only accept uploads when they "want to". I have absolutely NO other problems with anything else with this machine at the moment. So it seems it's all on WCG's end for this problem.

If it's an intermittent issue, then I feel for the tech's as those types of problems can be very hard to track down and replicate.

The error I'm getting is (again):
7/24/2012 1:22:22 AM | World Community Grid | Temporarily failed upload of cfsw_9194_09194099_0_0: transient upload error

I'm still able to download work units, as they EVENTUALLY (though it may be hours, and up to 1/3 of a day) do get uploaded (and thus also reported).

I hope this is something that eventually gets fixed/resolved, as it obviously affects numerous others, and also seems to be increasing in how often it's happening.

Good luck to the techs on this one. I have a feeling they'll need it. :)

Uploads and downloads all failing and heve been for well over 2 hours.....perhaps the thread title needs changing, I cannot see anything has been semi-fixed!

This has been going on for days now with upload/download problems and several "shut down for maintenance" periods. Might be good to put something under Known Issues; we can then look there to see when it's time to raise our "going smoothly" expectations again.
