They were supposed to be GPU only. I've gotten three CPU so someone set the parameters wrong.

Just curious if it's even possible to code an option that's able to be checked by us users that would allow us to free up 1 core of our cpu per GPU used to crunch? I'm thinking it would be pretty hard to do, if possible at all. Though it would probably have to be done so it only does that once it starts crunching a GPU work unit, that it automatically suspends a work unit that one core of the cpu is currently crunching, so it can be used during the GPU work unit. Once that GPU unit is done, if there's no more, it would re-enable the cpu core for cpu work units again, thus resuming the work unit that was already in progress.
----------------------------------------Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but I think this would be an ideal situation for us users. :) i5-12600K (3.7GHz), 32GB DDR5, Win11 64bit Home |

It looks like the well of this 2nd round of GPU Beta's is dry.
----------------------------------------The elapsed times differ more than in the first round. On the right you see the elapsed and the cpu times. I suppose all tasks are of the same kind and duration normally. Noticeable: how longer the elapsed how lesser the used cpu time. 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760411201202241113_0 00:04:43 (00:04:27) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760660201202241110_2 00:04:50 (00:04:38) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132761362201202241100_0 00:04:55 (00:04:45) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760455201202241112_0 00:05:01 (00:04:46) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760418201202241113_0 00:05:06 (00:04:44) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760569201202241111_0 00:05:08 (00:04:52) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760531201202241111_1 00:05:09 (00:04:53) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760970201202241106_0 00:05:11 (00:04:51) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132761471201202241059_1 00:05:15 (00:04:58) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132761504201202241058_0 00:05:15 (00:05:02) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760088201202241117_0 00:05:19 (00:05:04) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760314201202241114_1 00:05:25 (00:04:25) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132761432201202241100_0 00:05:27 (00:05:06) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760207201202241115_0 00:05:30 (00:05:12) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760511201202241111_0 00:06:07 (00:04:10) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760335201202241114_0 00:06:23 (00:03:31) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132761525201202241059_1 00:06:47 (00:03:59) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760253201202241114_1 00:08:08 (00:02:10) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760015201202241118_1 00:08:28 (00:01:53) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760641201202241110_2 00:09:24 (00:01:16) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132761416201202241100_1 00:09:57 (00:01:24) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132761493201202241058_0 00:10:02 (00:01:25) 6.44 Beta - Help Conquer Cancer (cuda_opencl) BETA_X0000132760273201202241115_0 00:10:10 (00:01:26) |

Just discovered two beta units on one of my Linux boxes. I'm not complaining, I was just under the impression there was only Windows beta work thus far. Are they CPU Beta's? I think the Windows Only is just for GPU beta's although I could be wrong. I was under the impression that both betas were for Windows. One of the pair is now validated, so that's pretty certain to be the right unit for my OS ;) Regardless, it's three more hours on my beta badge that I didn't have before. Currently being moderated under false pretences |

So far I haven't been able to grab a single GPU beta. I have 2 laptops with GPUs, one with a GTX 260M (CC 1.1) and another with a GT 330M (CC 1.2). I have selected to get GPU WUs on "My projects" and on each Device Profile. Also have Beta selected for all my Device Profiles. I want to know if any of them will be able to crunch GPU WUs.
