Bull----!!!
----------------------------------------There is no grand conspiracy to suppress a cheap, viable, alternative energy source. It pains me to come to this thread because you refuse to listen to any amount of reason, but please get a clue. The problem with conspiracy theories is that they require far too many people to keep a secret and we can well see in today's world that NO ONE is capable of keeping anything secret. Science involves thinking critically and challenging your assumptions, not being a cheerleader for someone who might very well be a con-artist. If this pans out, I'll be the first to congratulate you on finding it early. If not, and this appears more likely all the time, you are only digging your hole deeper. Sure, you can hide behind internet anonymity, but it won't make you feel better about yourself. Bear in mind, I've been hearing claims about LENR since fax machines were a novel rarity. You might understand if I'm justifiably skeptical. If Rossi has a viable experiment it will be readily duplicatable by other scientists in their own labs. This is the process of scientific inquiry. So far all he has pulled off is a bunch of his hangers-on doing an experiment in his lab with many, many assumptions and a result so tenuous that the discrepancies cannot be attributed to any phenomenon. The best they can offer is "we don't understand it", which is one of the most intelligent things I have heard yet regarding Rossi. Don't bother replying to this post, I won't read it. I'm not interested in opinions based on unsupportable optimism and no verifiable facts. ![]() Distributed computing volunteer since September 27, 2000 |

Bull----!!! Don't bother replying to this post, I won't read it. I'm not interested in opinions based on unsupportable optimism and no verifiable facts. First of all, I am sure you will read my reply if I will make the effort to write one. It is in your angry (passionate) nature to do so. Second: Why are you so angry? It pains me to know I bring pain and grief to you, so I will tell you this in order to make your life less angry: I am not a Rossi believer. I simply state that he might have something, that means it is possible for him to have a Cold Fusion reactor that works. I believe in LENR as much as you or SekeRob do. The only difference between me and you is that I like to share with others what are the latest developments in this very interesting scientific field. Do I believe that Rossi E-Cat is working as stated? Sure, but only when I will see one. Until then I am looking into it with an open mind. That's it. No reason to be angry. Being angry makes your heart week and you might have a bad day once at your family doctor. Being passionate is good but put it to good use, photography or some other hobby. ![]() I really hope your hobby is not "being angry". In the mean time check ex-Vice-President Al Gore talking briefly about Cold Fusion (aprox. minute 19): http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9_eI0I-YK4s#! ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 5 times, last edit by damir1978 at Jun 12, 2013 1:07:52 AM] |

I remember being promised that we would see these devices at Home Depot but that never happened. I don't really care, I go to Lowes now after the credit card problem.
I hope you don't mind if I wait for the peer review of their report and replication of the results, before getting all excited. |

Ok,
----------------------------------------So this thread the source of amusement to many has apparently died. Well Popular Mechanics put out a story so I have to post the link. http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/energ...mp;src=nl&date=042116 It's an interesting read. Apparently someone else appears to have replicated his 'experiment'... Pop Mech is kinda taking a wait and see attitude. I'm not selling my solar stock just yet. ![]() |
