An old pastor lay dying. He sent a message for an Internal Revenue Service
----------------------------------------agent and his lawyer to come to the hospital. When they arrived, they were ushered up to his room. As they entered the room, the pastor held out his hands and motioned for them to sit on each side of the bed. The pastor grasped their hands, sighed contentedly, smiled and stared at the ceiling. For a time, no one said anything. Both the IRS agent and lawyer were touched and flattered that the old man would ask them to be with him during his final moments. They were also puzzled because the pastor had never given any indication that he particularly liked either one of them. Finally, the lawyer asked, "Pastor, why did you ask the two of us to come here?" The old pastor mustered all his strength, and then said weakly, "Jesus died between two thieves, and that's how I'd like to go". "Ninety-eight percent of the adults in this country are decent, hard-working, honest Americans. It's the other lousy two percent that get all the publicity. But then--we elected them." -- Lily Tomlin |

judson Somerville MD and NiceMedTexMD, have you heard of the First Annual Meeting of the newly formed American Academy of Ozono (AAO) that will be in Dallas on February 16-18, 2012? This is the only medical forum in the United States focusing on the use of ozone therapy to treat medical, dental, and veterinary disorders. The academy website is http://www.aaot.us/ and I just verified the URL to make sure it is correct.

Good Saturday Morning MOT Hum Lubuntu.. Not heard of that one. I ran Ubuntu on some of these for a while but had problems TeamViewing into them so everything is now on Windows (XP, Vista or 7). Just looked it up. "more lightweight and energy saving variant of Ubuntu" (Cool )Congratulations Gerald! I wish I had a dollar for each of your points. or a Quarter...penny? OK you guys keep talking about Tea. Now as you may remember my coffee pot went Kaput so I just got a new one and I can't afford to make tea as well...so one of you other guys will have to supply the tea! Come to think of it we need a Tea Party; oh wait we have one and I am a supporter.I love the Tomlin quote Gerald. I will use it as a sig line in my email for a bit. I did not know our ant was missing..glad he was "recovered". You folks should all have a Great Day Today. Not much reason not to. One of your friends in Texas ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by RT at Jan 7, 2012 1:08:22 PM] |

Aaa-Haaa!
You'll make me tipsy - or worse with that moonshine, GeraldRubeI'll bring some camomile I have put the kettle on - it's 1530 my time I'll be Gone "Take on me Take me on I'll be gone in a day or two" I want to know the exact meanings of 'take on me' and 'take me on' including the difference if any - somebody asked and got this answer: Songs tend to have their own rules. "Does it sound right?" is one of the most important questions. Do you have a better explanation - my book of idioms were not much better than that answer |
