Given you're having problems, the best place to get the client software to make sure there's no compatibility issue is here:

This will get you the latest version that has been fully vetted to work with all the WCG science applications.

OK - I've run the installer, and am attached to WCG. I think this thread should be regarded as finished. If I have any more problems I know where to come and will start a new thread.

P.S: Strictly speaking, the root post title "I don't know where to post this in the forum" is not quite exactly the issue/concern that was resolved nor needs to be resolved. Fortunately, we are not machines so we have some idea of what the true issue/concern is as opposed to what the literal title may otherwise suggest -- the same reason why "last modified: 01-Jan-1970 00:00:01" is only for machines. For humans, "last modified: Never" is more intuitive, native, and unmistakably human. Hehe... have a nice day ahead Sek :-).
