Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

Hello and Welcome Carlos, Rodrigo & Andres - as I'm sure you already know from your work with setting this project up, we're a friendly bunch here, so I'd like to congratulate you on being part of "the wonderful machine" that is WCG.

May your results flow back to you quickly and be of enormous use cool

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

The first results that I've got are due September 4th, i.e. they have a deadline of only four days. Is that correct?

And not to forget: Hello and welcome, Carlos!
A high priority workunit sent out to replace one that didn't finish or as a tiebreaker can often have a shorter deadline. That does seem odd so early in the project, unless there are different classes of work.

My workunits are all due Sept. 10.

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

Welcome from me too to the new project.

I picked 4 and I am planning to participate to the project, will see later up to which badge, but I think it could be very well running up to Sapphire for me.

Ah well, should have looked at the results page first. You are right, of course. I've got replication #3 two times for results that have already finished with error... blushing

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

So - what's the structure of the WU numbering? Using CMD2 as a model, we seem to be destined for a very large number of batches. What's the second 8-digit number? Seems like a replication-2. How many batches overall? Expected average unit runtime? So far 13:30 and 0.625% progress. This to be expected or early days and adjustments will follow? Using the same kind of runtime limits we've seen on HCMD2 or some new brainchild?

Work unit numbering is in this format:
DSFL_TTTTTTTT_BBBBBBB_WWWW
T=Target
B=Batch
W=Work unit number

The current number of targets is 5353 and there are 58 batches per a target (0-57). The number of work units in a batch can vary, but will likely be around 1000.

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

16 tasks arrived with me so far, and I missed the quickies ;P
At 20min into their runs tasks varied between 6.5% and 10.2% complete with estimated remaining times to finish, on an i7-2600 Winx64, of 5h 25min and 6h 7min; so I'm expecting 5.5 to 6.5h run times on that system.
~35MB per task :)

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

Welcome DSFL team and Carlos, glad to have you on board.
I have my profiles set to this project only but only 2 machines received any WUs and the rest are receiving the no work available message. Is this just a lull for now with more coming?

EDIT. I have WUs on both my AMD quads but nada on the i7s. confused

Guess I'll have to be more patient. WUs are now showing up on the i7s. hugs
