And away we are, once again...

This is a class Joint (The Sting)

Here you go and carefully read the Research Introduction pages, for the badge level planners ;>)

Something isn't right. What about other projects?
On a 3.3GHz Phenom II X6 1100T computer, all of my estimates for DSFL are 05:34:42. They are at the back of a two day queue, so they will not run for a little while. Somebody with additional work buffer set to 0.0 might notice how they are working.

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

anhhai,

You were one of the few that got that issue. There was a mistake when loading the initial work in. Only 30 results went out with that issue. You were lucky enough to get some. A majority of the 30 went to the World Community Grid team as we try to download work units at the start of the project to check for mistakes.

This issue has been resolved and as of this comment over 600 results are being processed.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

I got one on a Pentium 4 2.4GHZ.

66 hours to go but lowering fast.

also, would it be normal to after one CPU minute the WU is already over 1.2% complete?

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

Hmm.

In time, no doubt we'll get the gory details. Project duration 1 year from my reading.

So - what's the structure of the WU numbering? Using CMD2 as a model, we seem to be destined for a very large number of batches. What's the second 8-digit number? Seems like a replication-2. How many batches overall? Expected average unit runtime? So far 13:30 and 0.625% progress. This to be expected or early days and adjustments will follow? Using the same kind of runtime limits we've seen on HCMD2 or some new brainchild?

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

Yes, it could be 1.2% complete after one minute.

the individual jobs within a work unit vary between 3-30 minutes depending on complexity. Progress does progress during these jobs as well.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

The first results that I've got are due September 4th, i.e. they have a deadline of only four days. Is that correct?

And not to forget: Hello and welcome, Carlos!

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

Mine are due the 10th and are estimated at 7hours run time.
Pushed them up so they are running. The first one took about 1/2 hour to get to 9% done.

Re: Welcome to the Drug Search for Leishmaniasis (DSFL) project

I like these Wu's.

Advancing roughly 1% per minute in a rather slow computer(P4 2.4GHZ)

Will the workunits be zero redundant like C4CW, HFCC and FAAH?

And welcome Carlos!!
