Got 2 on W7 that progress steadily, both on % as on the last-checkpoint time counting and CPU time progress. The Linux is unnerving. The Elapsed time is progressing, the CPU time froze at 20 seconds as did the time count for last checkpoint, and the progress % is incrementing at steps of 1.25%... then after 13:30 minutes elapsed the CPU jumped forward to 13:28 minutes same as in the previous test and froze again.. this was at 12.5% progress... compared to the Windows jobs the Linux is flying, but on that theme and availability... must be one of those shuttles at mach 4... payload too. :O)
