Re: New Set of Beta WU's - General System Test, All Sciences

Got 4 DDDT Betas with estimated times:
2 ~ 5:50 hrs
1 ~ 13:30
1 ~ 72:50
(Of course it could be my computers.)

And for some reason these are:
Quorum 2
Replication 3

The 72 hr WU is down to 60 hr remaining (7.8%), but the 13 hr is up to 14 hr (5.1%) after 1:25 hrs running.

Re: New Set of Beta WU's - General System Test, All Sciences

hmmm, is this A, B or C type? Smells like a limited run of A or B.

--//--

The few I got were As. Estimated run times are from 5.5 to 52 hours. confused

OK, thanks and explains why my Linux quad did not get them... the reliability was blown yesterday, when 22 tasks suffered a signal 11.

Reminds me of the msg that knreed considered to develop that could be made to appear in a client log when Reliability was reached. The log now only tells there is no work, or only for other platforms, not that reliability is insufficient. Presently one only knows if repair jobs arrive.

I got 8 b-types (pe) estimated runtimes from 9 hours up to 30 hours on the slowest system.
And 7 a-types (ps) estimated runtimes from 9 hours up to 18 hours.

Re: New Set of Beta WU's - General System Test, All Sciences

Lost my router today. No more for me. crying We had a really nasty storm here this afternoon. I have everything on ups/surge protectors so I think it dieing was just a coincidence. Everything else is working fine. praying
Luckily I had just switched my cache back to 1 day before it died so I'll have enough work to keep the crunchers busy until I can get a replacement tomorrow. cool

You are an incredible wealth of information. Here I was trying to figure out why some systems got them and others didn't and I had completely forgotten the reliability rule on A types.

I have 10ish units ranging from 8 hours for an SE to 46 hours for a PS.

On the bright side, this will push me into ruby territory. I was going to miss it by less than 2 days without these units. I know the HFCC beta was coming, but no one likes to have to wait.

As for platforms, I got them on a W7-64, XP, and Ubuntu 64

Re: New Set of Beta WU's - General System Test, All Sciences

One of my tasks is up to 22 hours and still hasn't reached 30%. This could be a whopper. The others are all scheduled to finish in less than 24 hours.

I checked the properties, elapsed time and CPU time are very close and it's still checkpointing. Guess it will just work me that much closer to emerald.
