Re: New Set of Beta WU's - General System Test, All Sciences

Well, am pretty confident the next beta fetch onto the quad will be racing again as did the previous previous. The Linux 11.04 power management is just a dog and after last boot, some 24 hours ago forgot to run in terminal "sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off", so Wifi will not be allowed to slow even for a microsecond. (time to put the line in the boot script, but how to do that if Wifi is one of the last bits to get loaded). Does Linux Ubuntu know sign-in script executions?

For now, bring it on, those biggies in download terms. :D

edit: sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off. Probably need to do more RTFM. ;>)

Re: New Set of Beta WU's - General System Test, All Sciences

We will be running a beta test for DDDT2 later today. If this goes well, the forecast for DDDT2 should be rainy next week.

Thanks!

My tally Stats for DDDT2, are as follows;
Discovering Dengue Drugs - Together - Phase 2 931,143 2,312 0:364:01:50:07
Yes, that close to Emerald (and it has been since the last drop of rain fell...). In fact, I'm now on the brink of Emerald for HCC and not that far away for HPF2 - it's been that long...

Re: New Set of Beta WU's - General System Test, All Sciences

You may have missed skgiven's warning... do this too early, the cache increasing whilst only set to fetch beta jobs, and your client might be in such a long back-off deferral that you'll miss the whole flash rain. OTOH, you'll get 1 per core/thread max, not more until you have them and returned completions. Thus, stay on the board and watch the news to do the flip :D
