Morning Update - new feature

Maugan May 28, 2013 6:18:48 PM
I don't think I've seen an update with no Personal Milestone or PBs in. Sad.

You were right, this was the first time it had occured. sad Sadly despite having narrowed the bandings for Personal Milestone reports, post GPU the gap between individual appearances in the update report will grow wider. Added to that Personal Bests will/have become a rarity and will only occur: with a a new or additional device; after a prolonged period of inactivity; change in daily crunching time. The upshot of all this will be more instances of "nothing to report". sad

With this in mind I will be adding a new section to the Morning Update from tomorrow which I hope will have daily entries of interest to anyone outaide the top 5. wink

Look out! Timewarp ahead!

Oooo crept in to the top ni-ni-ni-ni-nineteen thousand for points. And getting close to passing the number of points for my previous team but in much, much quicker time!

Talking of ni-ni-ni-nineteen, isn't strange how you can see a word or something that immediately reminds you of a particular song or place? As I did for the 19,000, for some reason "19" by Paul Hardcastle popped in to my head even though I haven't heard it for years. Heard a Depeche Mode song on the radio earlier tonight and was instantly taken back to walking to junior school back in the 80s.

Either that or it's just me!

Noticed team Riso is at #11 in the GB teams RT listing. Not a name I've come across before though averaging ~11 days RT per cd against an historial 25 that's not surprising. Anyone know anything about them from their home page link Datacave?

Re: Look out! Timewarp ahead!

Good evening all,

Unfortunately I am going to be down my 2.5 GHz i7 laptop for the next two weeks as it is off to the USA with work. On a positive note, I need to produce circa 100 DVDs of my latest rendering work for issue to clients, if we have plenty of blank DVDs at work, I will be able to produce a performance boost this weekend, otherwise my performance will be down. I am at the mercy of my IT department this weekend.
