Re: UK

uplinger WCG tech@ 17.53 UTC/GMT:
We are in the process of downloading new [HCC CPU & GPU] work from the researchers. Instead of sending out a trickle as they arrive because everyone is starving for work today. We will more than likely be able to release them and set the project back to full weight tomorrow. This is barring any delays of course. We will try to keep you up to date and informed of any changes that may happen.

Good news for anyone waiting to crunch GPU, though why was the original post buried on page 5 of an existing thread?? straight face

I was kinda cheating, mine was done from work! wink I get about the same stats as you, from home, since fibre isn't yet available here...

Jonnie's does look like a standard FTTC/P connection, though, with those stats?

Re: UK

PBs for yesterday:
	datahelp Runtime	8:22:48:14	Points Results
gilesk Runtime 2:20:39:10 Points 22,363 Results 29
wimbledog Runtime 1:09:49:04 Points 9,904 Results
rocketron Runtime 0:14:45:03 Points 2,675 Results 3
isandunk Runtime 0:08:33:22 Points Results
themoonscrescent Runtime Points 169,371 Results
Stuart F Runtime Points 4,623 Results 5
l3xs Runtime Points 3,277 Results

The P/V gaoler continues to assist themoonscrescent; A very nice RT record for datahelp with useful contributions from gilesk and wimbledog.

The UK team's 7day Avg. RT per cd has improved to 268.3 biggrin and the significant changes in individual Avg. RT per cd Nov:Oct is looking somewhat better:
Name +/-	Note
datahelp 8.7 Joined 18.11
adamhill1988 3.4
Soong 2.3
gilesk 1.4
RussellBest 0.9
Thargor -3.1
RTS48 -3.4
Wicksman -3.8
crooks_uk -6.2
t0ka -11.5

Wicksman suffers from the failure of a laptop and (I think) Thargor and crooks_uk the loss of 'borrowed' capacity in October.

UK team Project Mix
Snapshot comparison of crunching Nov 22 v Nov 15 to highlight the effect of the (largely) absent GPU capabiliity. Interesting if not entirely scientific! wink

FAAH 0:044:15:56:08 0:032:03:40:10 169,634 126,670 208 155

HFCC and CEP2 appear to be the main (RT) beneficaries of the current shortage of HCC WUs.

On a personal note I'm crunching on a 6 project mix to complete my collection of Ruby badges, hopefully by year-end. Hopefully FAAH will hit target first, around December 1st, which is World Aids Day.

And news about DDDT (originally posted Nov 16):
Right now, we are alpha testing some work units. If that goes perfectly, pre-run work units could be generated after alpha testing is completed. Once all of the pre-run work units are completed, type A work units would be generated and made available. Even under the best of circumstances, I would expect it to take at least two weeks before any type A work units would be available (and that's assuming everything goes flawlessly). A more likely estimate would be further out than that.

That's good news, given my miniscule-contrbution to DDDT so far:
