With the couple of issues, recently, I'm glad I set all of my machines to cache 2 days' worth of work-units...

And just realised, I think, that I forgot to set my gaming PC to use the GPU during the day (again)! If the machine wasn't rendered completely unusable whenever BOINC is using the graphics card for HCC, I'd leave it enabled permanently! sad

Just had a look at my results-stats, and here's the first day's "score":

02/04/2012 : 0:000:11:19:34 : 2,058 : 2

This would have been when WCG wasn't the only project I was running on my laptop. My first "permanent" server was set up 6 days later and is still going strong, albeit quite slowly - it's an ancient dual single-core Xeon (socket-604) server. However, since it's been continually running, since almost the start of me joining WCG, it's managed to amass the following stats so far:

I've had a little help from some nice equipment I've had chance to play with! biggrin

- tester01 : 3:004:15:18:23 : 3,962,737 : 5,910 (a dual quad-core Xeon server I "tested" for 2.5 months)
- Computer : 2:329:17:59:51 : 3,371,117 : 5,112 (a friend's computer who donated some CPU-cycles)
- Caine : 2:029:01:35:38 : 3,094,901 : 5,810 (my gaming PC)
- crunch : 3:325:15:43:13 : 7,348,196 : 12,760 (an 8-core Xeon VM on a friend's development/testing server, now suspended 8am-6pm weekdays as it conflicts with some real-time work he's tinkering with)
