Re: UK

Thanks for the kind words, sadly this was a case of not researching and proper planning of changes to motherboard, only good thing done was a complete backup of docs / music /media. An expensive reminder to not just rush in making changes to kit without complete research and proper tools and anti-static precautions. Silly silly me. blushing

Re: UK

Speaking of replacing broken components, I'm considering overclocking my gaming PC's CPU this weekend, just to see if I can speed it up a little - apparently the original i7's were really good for overclocking, I know a few people who got the 920 up from its standard 2.66GHz per core speeds up to 4GHz per core, and kept it stable.

I doubt I'll be going that drastic, but upping it from 2.66GHz to 3.36GHz looks to be an easy and pretty "safe" middle-ground. Hopefully should help a little, both when it comes to gaming and to crunching...

Re: UK

Morning all

Not seen the movie but may well have to find it for an evenings viewing. Never quite sure how these biopic movies will come out, especially when it will contain music that you are familiar with.

Ooo, look at the time, coffee o'clock! coffee

Sorry, we don't have an "official" estimate of how much more work there will be yet. The researchers are still trying to figure this out themselves.

And Soong has a new Globe sig wink

Unfortunately MarkRM 17:031:02:46:25 #4999 is on the verge of dropping out of the Global5000. sad

The rate of advance of the Qualifying Level has increased has increased to 4.8 days pd which means that expected qualifying of Mike D Green and arkangath has been delayed to 42 and 61 days respectively. sad

Andy Serkis is a massive fan of Ian Dury and so was the perfect choice, he looks almost like his twin in the movie, and when filming the set for the end credits, when the band began to play, I remember the Drummer saying in an interview that recording had to stop, due to him bursting in to tears because he thought he was playing with Ian again, thats how close Andy was.

Good going Team biggrin

Re: UK

@TMC - there is certainly a resemblance between the two.

Good to see another member returning to the crunch.
