At the risk of teaching my grandmother to suck eggs wink :
If including a hyperlink in a post use the <<http://>> button (above, left). First type the message e.g. Join the UK team; click OK; Copy/paste the link; Click OK. The message is displayed in Clickable format! It's possible to increase the size of the message by inserting [ size] smile but not possible to change the color sad :
[ url= http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=L721SPD4BN1][ size=4]Join the UK Team[ /size] without the leading space in []
Join the UK Team

I was trying to have the Join UK Team as part of my signature (like yourself), but it wouldn't let me, it kept on cutting the coding in half (more than enough spaces to do it?), so I gave up in the end and just put the basic code as part of the thread sad

If it's any help this is the coding for my sig:

[ b]Join the UK team
[ b]UK team Current Ranking: RT [ color=blue]#85 Pts[ color=blue] #80 Res [ color=blue] #74 Spaces inserted to make visible.
247 characters (Max allowed 250) The first img is the snurk globe and the second the union jack jpg (stored on photobucket). Using bit.ly is essential wink
I just wish WCG would update the mvnForum software(2008 build) or select a more uptodate BB package - preferably one that handles data tables with ease!

Re: UK

Normal service resumed at around 12:07. I was GPU dry for about 15 mins. So no great shortage of work. smile

The resumption post-noon will have meant the lunchtime update was seriously skewed. Only a transient problem though since all should caught up by the midnight update tonight.

From the point of view of the UK team there is incomplete evidence that datahelp
logged about 4.5 days RT which I hope is allocated to the team. djerram logged about 10hrs. I believe that having been off the grid for 3 weeks all devices will have to re-prove themselves so it may take some time (days) to reach peak performance.

Meanwhile we have another new member! biggrin isandunk biggrin
WCG member since July 2012. 0:037:01:31:41; 210,732; 267
Average RT per cd 0:000:06:35:21
Good to have you on the UK team. biggrin

And my early warning radar has thrown up another InActive who has resumed crunching: Matthew674 inactive since Nov 2010. Welcome back! biggrin

Re: UK

Welcome to the Team Isandunk & Datahelp biggrin

My poorly I7 was returning results up until 7.30 this morning, it still has plenty to return before it runs out (I set it to No New Tasks before it froze and refused to start up again), so it has either crashed or has not yet attempted to send any back after the outage?

If it is still running, it only has enough to last until about 8 or 9pm tonight, but thats better than nothing (nice of him to stick a dongle in it to allow it to continue returning results biggrin ).

*UPDATE*

It has just sent a whole load more back, just a couple of minuets ago, 9 left, so will run out about 7.30ish (or atleast be down to 1 core running by 7.30).

Re: UK

Welcome aboard Datahelp and Isandunk!
And good to have Djerram and Matthew674 back.
@TMC - that really does sound like one unhappy i7. Wonder why?? Seems like it's all been tested and working fine which then doesn't make sense why it will crash/freeze. Hope you can get it sorted.

Cheers smile

Only things left are: Mobo, CPU, Hard Drive or a problem with Win 7 (though when the shop guy said he reset CMOS (which didn't work for me), I do wonder if he meant he had changed the battery? would/could a dead or dying CMOS Battery cause this much trouble?).
