As the late, great, Humph might have said "gordoma is within a gnat's crotchet of his Global 5000 RunTime ranking": 0:003:17:01:45 or maybe "a midge's minim" 5,001 as of this morning... just waiting to see if the lunchtime update pushes me over the mark!![]() Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) (Rank) 16:321:14:42:31 (#5,000) |

When I remember, I'm now derestricting three of my new "test" VMs, so they'll jump up from 1.50 GHz per core (quads) up to 2.40 GHz during the day (as they're running on more powerful VMHosts) - will wait and see how much difference that makes.

@ Thargor Anything that produces an increase in Runtime is welcome!

All good things come to him who waits as I keep telling myself when counting down the 2,068 days until I get my Global5000 ranking. ![]() ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by jonnieb-uk at Nov 12, 2012 2:42:50 PM] |

Couple of nice milestones there chaps.
---------------------------------------- Am still plodding away at somewhere around 1.5 days RT per day at the moment but not likely to be much more than that for the foreseeable future New crunchers always welcome. Come in on, the water's lovely! |

Having resumed crunching late last month Stuart Maskery seems to have got the 'bug' and logs a triple PB: 3:11:39:24; 29,058; 35.

Tucked away in the Help Conquer Cancer Crunching Chart thread is this important and informative post by knread reccommended reading for all.
---------------------------------------- Why is this hidden in a routine thread? WCG are better than many projects when it comes to communicating with members, but that doesn't mean that they are perfect. If the information imparted in the post had been publicised in advance a lot of the earlier whinging in this, and other threads, would have been avoided. |
