Hi pirogue,
----------------------------------------Good news here. I downloaded version 1.2a without triggering any antivirus messages. I installed the .exe and zlib directory into the directory where my old version (still 1.0!) and database were. Version 1.2a runs without any noticeable errors. In particular, it is not multiplying point values by 10. This is in the U.S. and running Windows 7 Home Premium. I'll try it under wine on Linux tomorrow. Kate ![]() |

pirogue,
Regrettably, the temp dir install and placement in there of the cleaned DB per the return mail gave all new additions and validations the 10x credit, so I'll run the debug version and mail those later. Putting the cleaned db into the 1.1b folder gives as before the proper credit values, to include those had the 10x claim on the PV lines that got validated later. Feels the key is in 1.1c where we first observed these value inflations. --//-- |

With the launch of the new GO Fight Against Malaria project, you'll need to update the ProjectsList.txt file.
----------------------------------------After your next update, change this: 114>GO Fight Against Malaria> to this 114>GO Fight Against Malaria>GFAM If you don't make the change, everything will still work, but you won't see the abbreviation when you group by project. |

Ah, whilst you're here. Question [hidden feature request]. If the program has been loaded and updated prior to the midday, night stats run, and the stats run has completed, how do you get the Overall project stats tab to update without exiting the program first?
Today discovered that if your login has expired and giving the pop-up the OK, the full My Grid page is shown, and one can browse around My Grid and forums inside WCGDAWS, but not page back obviously. Opening result logs and quorum detail actually opens up a pop up window of IE. No complaint, just another of these MS undocumented features :D Thx --//-- |

I'd have to add a refresh for that. I initially set it up to be a 1,2,3 type of process--1=login, 2=update stats, 3=play with stats. I guess I didn't anticipate people leaving it open for longer periods of time. |

Hi,
Been keeping it minimized for the instant action. Did find out yesterday, that Spock logic works most of the times and here too: In a reflex hit F5 [since the IE engine is sitting underneath] and sure enough, the My Grid stats page refreshed. The balloon when hovering the Login button with a text addition "F5 to refresh" would suffice for many as a reminder. This tool proofs to be the thinnest web-browser there is. Right clicking on the web page brings up the submenu for navigation if one needs to go back and forth. WCG site renders perfectly. thanks. --//- |

The F5 refresh seems to work most of the time. I would guess that during a site update, there would be weirdness.

I've just uploaded a new release (1.2c). This version seems to eliminate all of the issues with non-US locales.

Thanks for this release, pirogue,
Been running this for a few days and not a beat was missed. The sums function in addition to the averages is a treat. This version also continues to run faster than the 1.1b I was still running. Next up, trying to run it inside Linux Wine, but with TeamViewer7 it's as easy to remote in to run it on the Windows host. --//-- |

You're welcome. I'm just glad I finally got all of the comma, decimal, multiplication, and date format issues straightened out.
