Hi pirogue,
----------------------------------------I just saw the new messages in this thread and haven't tried the new version yet. Should I go ahead and install what's there now, or wait until you update this weekend? Kate ![]() |

----------------------------------------Here's the test that I posted: http://www.wcgdaws.com/releases/WCGDAWS-1.2a.zip This fixes all of the problems I know about. Please give it a try and let me know if it fixes the problems you have. |

piroque,
----------------------------------------1. Serious matter: The download fails [my previous post above] because my Alwil AV scanner is not liking something about the zip file or how/where it's been presented so refuses to let the download finish. Had to temp disable, download to sandbox area, then scan. It says you've got a win32:Flooder-HD[Tr] trojan/virus in the minigzip_d.exe file and that we're obviously not so happy about. 2. The WCGDAWS.exe itself is not contaminated. Program now loads correctly with complete history showing. Like the new total feature and the striped listing of tasks. Update works fine, BUT, the decimal is still off showing the credits claimed / granted by factor 10. My locale is comma as decimal, point as thousand sign. cheers --//-- edit: I've rescanned the old archives and the 1.1b c and d also contain the virus in same minigzip_d.exe. Got no older versions in archive. Never used that, and hopefully just a false positive. Is it the program used to zip your zip? [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 17, 2011 7:27:58 AM] |

4 out of 44 Virus checkers found something in the zipfile, nothing in the wcgdaws.exe

The zlib125-dll.zip file is the "official" zlib release and was downloaded from http://zlib.net. I got it from the 4th US (zlib.net) link in this section of that web site: The current release is publicly available here: I would hope that you're getting a false positive. |

Is it in every individual WU line, the grouping captions, the summary line, or...?What country settings are you using? |

piroque,
It's the credit grant/claim per-line. This adds into the totals and averages where I see only a comma decimal but no 1000 separator. Italian locale, but tried others continental Europe too, German e.g. same. Version 1.1b where I'm back on does it fine. When purging the PVs with the > 1000 credit, and update, they come back with proper credit/claim annotation. Sorry for being a pest on this. --//-- |

The good news for today, and expecting more: The AV alert was a false positive. Avast did offer a new engine 6.0.1289 up from 6.01203 as of yesterday and the latest AV-DB of 6 hours ago 110917-0 and now the download goes without a hitch. Phew.

Can you send me your latest workunits.dat and workunits.idx files to piroGue at wcgdaws dot com or post them on my forums? I'm not feeling pestered. I want it to work for everyone. |

piroque,
This is what it looks like in 1.1b after updating in 1.1d and 1.2a. The 5 in the middle with the > 1000 claim / credit are the lines standing out. On the Result status page they show with 1/10th those values. ![]() The top 2 records were fetched again with 1.1b and show the proper claimed/granted. Don't think it's the database causing this. I'll mail them in a zip. --//-- |
