Version 1.2 is now available.
----------------------------------------It includes the option to view either averages or sums (totals). |

As you are probably aware, the new Drug Search for Leishmaniasis project was recently launched.
----------------------------------------In order for it to show up properly, you'll need to either add this line: 112>Drug Search for Leishmaniasis>DSFL to ProjectsList.txt before your next update or after updating, add the abbreviation to this line: 112>Drug Search for Leishmaniasis>DSFL in ProjectsList.txt. Everything will still work if you don't make one of these changes, but you won't see the abbreviation when you group by project. |

Hey pirogue thanks for all your crunching on WCG it's people like you that make a real difference, your awesome! #crunching for a cure! It's definitely a group effort. I'm hoping that if/when I, or anyone I know needs a cure, all of our efforts will have started to pay off. |

hi piroque,
Thought you posted in here where to add the DSFL short to the ProjectsList.txt, not seeing it, but a word of caution. When doing so make sure to do a line-return at the end, then delete the blank line after should that get inserted. The experience was that the program would not fetch *new* DSFL results in about 2 out of 3 cases after starting the program, logging in and running update. After it works fine. Now, regrettably back to the former decimal issue that exists on the credit and grant fields (no issue with the smaller numbers on the other fields). As reported there was the case that credit values got inflated by factor 10 in 1.1c . The same is the case in 1.1d. Unable to upgrade to 1.2 as it gives an error saying that there is no workunit.dat file nor any backups. The program is in the same directory as the data. Here's a screenshot: ![]() At some point in time backups stopped to be made at the 37th iteration somewhere in June and curiously, when checking now, the first new one was created after editing the ProjectLists.txt. Maybe that was somehow related. FYI in case someone reports not to find recent backups to restore from. Thanks for your great program. --//-- |

Hi Sek,
----------------------------------------This Application Error popup with version 1.2 must be very familiar to piroque ;) I've already spended several mails to piroque, but on his system everything runs fine, even with my database. Even after a fresh install without any data, I get that error. Perhaps somehow a difference between USA/European units?? CP [Edit 1 times, last edit by Crystal Pellet at Sep 16, 2011 2:14:50 PM] |

CP,
I forgot to write it in previous post, but was thinking of a hard linked path in the compile. In that case it would work for him, but not for us. Obviously, that was too easy a thought on my part. At any rate, things continue to work with 1.1b to satisfaction [but I'm dying to get the totals option :D] --//-- |

I guess you two are the only ones trying to use the new version(???).
----------------------------------------I just downloaded it to a new PC and got the error. The problem may be in the initial DB creation. The DB isn't in the zip file, it gets created on the first run. When either of you are getting the new version, are you putting it into a new folder, without the DB? I'll try and figure out what I messed up and get 1.2a out sometime this weekend. |
