Good crunching folks!!!!!

RT, the storms did some damage but nothing like last week. I got lucky and the line did what they often do in my immediate area - it split. I did get rain, somewhat heavy at times, but nothing bad. I didn't even have to reset my wireless router (no momentary blips in the power). It was interesting to watch it on radar and see the "parting" in the line. A lot of times, the storms coming out of Alabama just start dying once they cross the state line too. It's something about the geography right here around me. I've had a couple of occasions where tornado warnings are out for one west of me headed right for me. Once it starts getting close, it either goes off to the northeast or southeast.

Chris, it will be interesting to hear how you get treated in a big outage. It sounds like they send a special crew (one that knows and is used to dealing with homes that feed power back into the grid) instead of a regular crew. That might slow down getting you fixed if it's something not also affecting your neighbors.

Judson, I've seen that huge Russian cargo plane on TV before. It is HUGE to say the least and naturally specializes in hauling unusually large loads. From what I heard on the news here, it was an extremely large concrete pump that they were hauling over to Japan. I suspect it's the one they will use to encase the destroyed reactors ala Chernobyl.

Sorry about missing my morning "Good Morning Team". Everything is OK here, just computer problems on top of a bunch of other stuff. Mayhaps I will get things back in order in the next day or so. Everyone have a great evening/tomorrow.
