Lots of computer issues as usual. My numbers should go back up. Would be nice to break all our single days records this year. Perhaps dkt would call his friends at IBM to "loan" us a couple super computers! Ha ha!!!! Lets us know if there is any way we can help--Happy New Year to everyone!!--I an seriously thinking of moving to Texas for good and travel for my work--i dont know if i said but i am visiting a girl friend from my past and are hitting it off famously--i am happier with my life than ever before.I actually enjoy waking up in the mornings now and have not had to take anti-depressants for weeks I also miss Dave Bell--i know he is in a better place with the Lord I hope everyone is in good health Sounds like you are already here. It also sounds like being around her has improved you outlook a great deal. That could not please any of your friends here any more. Good Morning MOT I am putting together a atom based desktop as I referenced yesterday. I got the MB/Processor yesterday as advertised from UPS. The memory was shipped via the Post office so it will take a day or two longer (grumble grumble). So there it sits, wanting to contribute to the WCG but cold and lonely. |

Sounds great RT. I ordered a dual Xeon 5480(?) 6 core with I believe 18 Gbytes of L3 cache! Should fly but MB it is on back order. Have power supply, DVD and case so far which are assembled. The MB can be OC'd which is not always the case with server MB's. Trying to buy bit by bit.

On the sixth day of the year, we have ten members already in six figures for the year. Tomorrow, we should have our first millionaire for the year. The number of members returning results each day has rebounded a good bit but we're still slightly below norm. finman has been putting up some awesome numbers lately. Great work by another of our lurkers.
---------------------------------------- Great start to the year by everyone! |

That little puppy that I just put together was a fun project but it cannot even be compared to the monster you have in the oven. I can't wait to see how much it cranks out, it has to be a really impressive machine. Dubby. So glad you are here and you are enjoying yourself. At our age, that last bit is important. If I plan on getting down that way, I will stop by and buy you a cup of coffee. Good Morning MOT Thinking of you DaveB. |
