Now that the holiday season is wrapping up and folks are getting back to the usual routines, that should get reflected here. Our numbers for today are up already but hopefully, we'll see our daily active members number go back up as well as folks return from vacations, semester breaks and the like. With our 2011 goal of 250 million points, we'll need to average about 685,000 points a day. We ended up averaging about 520,000 points a day last year though that's over the whole year. For December, it was more like 620,000. So, hopefully we can be hitting 685,000 pretty regularly by mid-year. Maintaining that kind of momentum will help us push that up towards 775,000 or 800,000 by end of the year and hit our goal. It's going to be a push but any good goal should be. We have a team full of folks crunching their hearts out so I think adding more new members to the team will be what determines our level of success this year. dkt is a great start and pramodp will likely have some "competition" from them for being the next MOT Millionaire. The best part of that though is that we'll have TWO new MOT Millionaires by early spring! Spread the word! You all know how easily addicting crunching is. wink The Air Force continues to gain on the Navy so we could see parmesian back from his camping trip as early as some time this month. I've also noticed that one of our pretty regular lurkers has been turning up the production lately. finman is really cranking them out. Perhaps they can be persuaded to "unlurk" and join in the conversations here. biggrin Yes, Judson, it had gotten a bit quiet in here but that too was a result of the holidays. It's already starting to pick back up here so it's a great time to folks to join in. Thanks again to everyone for a great 2010 and here's to 2011!

coffee coffee coffee Good Morning MOT coffee coffee coffee I noticed that I have a few spare bits around here and got to thinking that I could order this using promo code EMCZNPY57 along with $22 worth of memory (2Gig) and a old Dell case and ..... TADAAA another, albeit tiny (1.8Ghz), dual core cruncher. smile Also, I think I will move some big hard drives over there and have it be the machine everything else is backed up on. Of course that means (to me at least) that it will have to have Windows of some sort.
