Hi Aaron,
yes, he has left a meticulous documentation on all his CEP work, so he next person should be able to take over without too much of a hassle. And we certainly hope that Chris will continue to spread the word on CEP ;). Best wishes Your Harvard CEP team |

Some of you may have noticed: there was a small glitch with the IBM workunit server and the supply for some crunchers dried up. This seems to be all sorted out now:

Well.... sometimes older IS better. Whiskey, Cheese, Wine, Classic cars, etc.
The only thing I can think of where this does not apply is for CEP crunching computers :D Merry Christmas everyone. If you do not follow Christmas then please join me for a celebration of good will towards our fellow man/woman kind. It doesn't matter what you believe in, it's always a good thing to take a little time out of the year to be nice to each other for whatever reason you choose. May your computers be chuggin' and may your work units all be valid in the coming year. Aaron |

Oh well, since this is the jolly season, here is another little comic. It’s actually spot on since all of the CEP2 infrastructure and machinery is developed in Python. If you enjoy coding but don’t know Python, you are missing out big time!

We got to tease our older crunchers a little Not necessarily accurate, I'm afraid; I do not see Randy Brooks' Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer . Note, that the average age of the CEP team is about 30... http://xkcd.com/988/ |

oh god, that song... it came out when? 79 80? I remember hearing that way back when I was growing up. I think that is one that will never go away. Not that it's a bad song necessarily but after hearing it for the 5000th time.. well. you get the idea.
