There are a lot of WU's finished in the PV jail which will need tech team attention to be validated or will waiting until the next release be ready to be distributed, once all are waiting for new replicas yet.

Mates, pls allow one question. Why are so many of you you hunting for DDDT-WU's and then aborting units, probably ending with an error-state? This will give your wingman a good chance for computing for nothing if this task is not validated by another person and eventually gets gets no resend to a third man. Good idea, congratulations. Is your only goal catching points and badges? What about the aspect of science? As long as I get no server-abort for a special task I will try to do that task. Sometimes it fails, but whats your point? The more results the scientists have for analyzing, the more they can learn about eventually aspects they have not payed attention so far.
For me, I will try to finish every task I got. And if it's only for my wingman somewhere in the world, waiting for validating his calculations with my results. I have really not the powerful hightech machines in background, normally it takes 5 to 6 hours to finish a DDDT2-task. I was happy for catching some tasks and if there is no server-abort, I have to do it. It's so simple. Following this thread and reading about the chance for finishing the PLA-units without an error, they will get a go on priority on my computer. If the other ones fail, then let it fail. But calculate the tasks, pls. don't abort! Cheers to all of you |

Most of the results from the last rain resulted in error completion. When investigating the reason for the error, I have found the following two lines at the end of the description:
Bad LAMBDA value Encountered error. Exiting. Can anyone say what the LAMBDA value is and how it is extablished? |

Got 103 wu, 79 failed and only 24 validated or in attempt of validation.

Even wingmen-less results (distribution suspended), get time and credit awarded. When distribution is suspended, don't think there's much value in computing not-used results but for personal statistics pumping, so aborted 8 (5 completed, 2 valid, 3 error). The techs surely had enough to pass to the scientists to work with correcting the issue.

Hopefully when they have time the techs will explain. |

For those who like pumping, filled up their cache and crunched away, off-line to make sure the server had no chance of aborting them, e.g. ... i.e. cant satisfy everyone, evertime, all the time :D

No server-abort. My machines are always on-line all the time. Were there server-aborts in this run??? I agree with you about the pumpers, but I don't think it applies in this particular case, but then maybe I missed something? |

As you asked "but why no server-abort?" and my post inferred and gave possible reasons why not, there was no server abort.
