If you have too much time, you could take a look at the result status page: If one (or all) wingmen have error results, the Wu seems to be faulty and most probably will error. if the wingman is in PV state, it is at least possible to complete that WU. So since resends are disabled at the moment I would resume those tasks because there is a (slight) chance that they will complete and validate.
But if you want to be on the safe side it is of course better to abort them. |

Strange mix. All of the work units on my two Macs failed. My VMWare Ubuntu, Vista Dual, & Vista Quad had some valid, some error work units.

so far, i had 2 errors, one at dynamic loop start and one at 100% but both were credited.
but what's strange, the work units don't start in the order i downloaded them (all off them are running hi-pri) and switch around when i hit the update button though my switch application value is set to 9000. |

I'm sort of surprised that we haven't heard anything from the techs about this. Maybe they are waiting on the scientists? I'm crunching the tasks I downloaded because I figure if they didn't want us to they would have said so. I'm running a mix so not worried about my reliability.

The "Bad LAMBDA value" error seems to occur a few seconds before completion.

Just one question about the credits of those error-WUs:
----------------------------------------They gave us wcg-credits, but no crunching-time for the project... Is this right?

yes i was wondering that too. but we should wait until the repairs are being sent out and validated. i guess crunching time will be credited sooner or later for all work units, just like other false positives.

I'm sure when there is something of significance to report they will. This isn't a huge deal that needs status updates, it's not like theres a server down or something. |
