mousie Well then that means that you are 80% right in the head....Unless of course the intel was donated, then you would be 100% all right in my book....HA HA.... Sure you could ask...but I don't have to tell.  Also I have no vaio. I do have 1 intel and 4 AMD's.  |

It is o.k. as we all make mistakes in our lives...Reminds me of a joke though...On his death bed a man asked his wife "honey I just have to know about the children..Four of them are beautiful but the oldest is so ugly he is hard to look at..I need to know the truth before I die..Are you positive that he is mine??"...The wife looked him square in the eye and said " Yes, with all my heart I know that the oldest is yours"...With that the man smiled and passed away...The wife then thought to herself that it was good that he didn't ask about the four other kids...AMD,AMD,AMD,AMD...

Can you honestly tell me Mousie that you would own a Celeron ???....When you buy a computer with a Celeron in it they give you a hat and a free bowl of soup.....

lol...
we've got one in our house, yes. not one i use personally, though. i find it makes for a decent chip in a laptop...i had it crunching for a while, and it produced so little heat that i couldn't tell the difference of whether it was crunching or not. so it does have it's purpose...makes for a good laptop chip if you don't wanna burn your lap. i currently post from my laptop, a pentium 4...lol. my desktop an a64. and the old beat up vaio an xp1600. and when i say beat up, i definately mean beat up. the thing no longer has an lcd. it was sitting idly by it's former owner(my cousin), so i grabbed it, tuxed it, and is now the server the bc stats(amongst other things) are hosted on.  also folds in the background.and that's about all i crunch on at the moment...i do have an older desktop that's currently my dad's solitaire box, but it sees so little uptime that it's not worth crunching with. |

As long as you are crunching is all that counts...Sooner or later you may even have as many machines as moi...

----------------------------------------Not to bed yet but I am starting to get tired. It's only just coming up on 12:30am here on the west coast US. pwrguru I liked your joke. Rather suddenly I've felt a renewed interest in getting another PC. Hmmm...that still wouldn't get me near you.  Celeron sounds good though. I’m getting a little hungry and I need a new hat. |
