I fear that due to all the problems with BETA, we may get stuck with Linux only

Don't know the basis either. For all I know CEP2 needs the Windows platform to work the get through the work in a reasonable amount of time and for who wants to check, see post by cleanenergy.

Windows Please praying praying praying
I would be very happy to participate to a clean energy project. I have dealt in the past with hydro energy and a little about wind. But I would like very much to contribute to Solar which is the one with the biggest potential for growth.
And frankly my Solar System would be very happy to contribute to better use the Sun. wink

Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

Linux is easy, but you were too much in a rush... a little time investment and the payback is multiple the points it takes to find out and many more results processed under Linux 64 bit. Most of the prep work can even be done under Windows... boot into the Live CD, then tell it to grab a good chunk of diskspace. Go with Linux Lucid Lynx 10.04.1 Long Term Support for starters.

I agree with that comment Sek. You are perfectly right. I do not have the spare time needed for that at least for the time being. I still have some machines to build. Maybe in a not too distant future I will do another try allowing more time to learn. wink
