Re: Birdwatchers from the World United

I watched last night, for too many hours. At least now I know the action doesn't really start until 10:30 PM (GMT-4). Now I can nap for a few hours before going bleary eyed. nerd tired

Re: Birdwatchers from the World United

Sweet hummingbird photo.

If we're not limited to birds of our native country, here's one of my favorites from a trip to the Galapagos Islands. A "dancing" blue-footed booby:

Re: Birdwatchers from the World United

Wow, nice humming bird!
You managed to get is so sharp and crisp, really nice!

There are so many beautiful birds and other animals in all colours in your area. Here in Sweden we almost only have "grey" animals :)

I have a picture that my sister managed to take of some sparrows in mid-air. It's not as nice as yours, but I'll see if I can find it.

Great job JP!

Re: Birdwatchers from the World United

I agree, that hummingbird is National Geographic quality no doubt.
But I really wonder how you convinced that little bird to pose for the picture. Just turn the head a little, spread the wings and stay in front of the lens calm and relaxed.
Jean Pierre do you talk bird language wink
