Uplinger, does this mean that as no Beta WU's will be validated, if the third WU hasn't started, it won't get Server Aborted?

Am confused, now have 4 concurrently of C, pdb, sda x 2 and a sqa. Peak Ram is between 16 and 46mb after first checkpoint for all, but the VM is big... reserved 510-530mb each. Soft page faulting is very small 16k after 1.7 hours and delta is zero. (Process Explorer on W7-64)
----------------------------------------Rather curious, the fan gears up to max right on the checkpoints, lasts few seconds, then returns to normal.

Now why ask a question to which you've got the answer... how would the system know the first 2 are in valid quorum? The rest I leave to your imagination how to improve on the extended thoughts sprouting from that

...now have 4 concurrently of C, pdb, sda x 2 and a sqa. Not to correct a CA, Sek, but the b of pdb and the a of sda and sqa are a part of the heximal number of the tasks. So the C-types are pb, sd and sq out of the range (pc, pd, pl, pr, pq, sd, sr, sq). |

Now this is showing in the client dynamic controls
----------------------------------------<net_stats> <bwup>29373.619110</bwup> <bwdown>496472.586649</bwdown> </net_stats> On a quad, calculating on 90 minutes average per job, an approximate 1.2Gb in download volume. Could hurt a few crunchers going for gold. Is it an option for the techs to package multiple jobs in 1 tasks as was done for DDDT-1 or would that not gain any WU downsizing?

It just strikes me as odd that WCG is allowing all these third WU's to be crunched when they're not really needed... Particularly so, when you consider that all these WU's will be fed back into the hopper again when the project goes live. |

By far it is the best Beta test that I got in WCG in years...
----------------------------------------A lot of WU's blow out each minute, very quickly to run and until now estable and wityhout any significant problem to be mentioned (despite of be a memory eager in some moments as mentioned a lot in the posts). Change my Intel quad to work in best performance mode (chnged from best appeareance mode, over W Vista 32 Ultimate), with improvement of virtual memory (uncheck Windows management and set a specific high value for virtual memory). It appear be solved the page files problem which I saw sometimes bring errors due lack of memory, mainly when another application in this machine ask for memory too... Until now this Beta appear run very well.
Cheers ! GIB@

Got a pd, pc and pq. Two validated fine with replication 3 and quorum 3. The pd is Pending Validation, waiting for the 3rd to come in.
The run looks fine by me, all running on dual core XP machines on my side. |

The decision was made and most certainly it will put the validation rules to the test to it's fullest... and I imagine that if this is a fully succesfull cycle test, the results are transportable into the master database. There's so much the techs do that they don't post out in public, for would they spend all their time on sharing, they'd barely have time left to do what they're best at.
