This thread is for those wanting to post their member ranking in their respective country, points, WUs as you wish and chat about it.

On a daily basis, I keep my 1st position in points. But on WU's returned and Runtime no way, I stay 2nd by a good margin. I hope that on the coming days my Neptune device should help a little but probably there is a project effect here.
----------------------------------------I crunch only Rice. Yes I am really hungry at the moment. The WU's of Rice take about 7 hours of crunching on my devices. So the daily number of WU's returned is smaller so here I can understand the difference. But how come that I am also behind with Runtime. There should be a direct relation between Points and Runtime. We will see what will happen when I will switch to another project in the coming weeks. The race goes on. |

But how come that I am also behind with Runtime. There should be a direct relation between Points and Runtime. Very easy. The other #1 has less powerful machines than you but he has many more.And if there would be a direct relationship between points and runtime totals there would be no need for two different races. If you go further down these two lists for Switzerland you wil see many other differences. This is also illustrated by the fact that, generally speaking and for total rankings, members who registered long ago have better runtime rankings than points rankings because, at the beginning, they have accumulated much runtime with much less powerful machines than nowadays. Thank's it is clear. I would say it is even fair. The system through Runtime can reward participation and assiduity of a member independently of the power of his machine. I like that.

According this WCG Global statistics page, http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewGlobal.do map at bottom, over half of the registered members have chosen to fly the international flag, ergo... any country ranking is kind of not reflecting the truthful position. Somewhere else, with my [modest] contribution I show cumulative position of 17 with RAC on 35, with global on 246. Opposed WCG, which does not have direct RAC, I'm on 24 and cumulative on 15, the UD agent effect kicking in. It's a pity there's no International flag at WCG opposed to BOINCstats, else I'd be moving there swiftest...after all only collectively we can get there...
----------------------------------------So, WCG what do you say: How about adding International to the flag selectors, so those choosing to run country-less can measure themselves with others who consider themselves world citizen... the ARE 252,000 strong presently!
