I've no idea what you're saying there, 2:04 minutes after my post.

This is a Country Member Ranking thread, and your first posts made no mention of rankings!
----------------------------------------O/T WCG Pages do not automatically refresh. By the time I created a link to France and Italy, you substantiated your first topically barren post; ergo Italy is back on the map. PS. More choice is nice, but International perhaps hides a lot of facts the WCG might want to know of! Even if 90% of people want to be referred/thought of as International (World Wild), some of the smaller countries inhabitants are more use to hanging onto what they have, and what their forefathers fought to hang onto! On Topic, this thread puts things into perspective for the more modest contributors, and I for one welcome it. In terms of points total, I am happy to report that I fell from 64th to 65th earlier this week; someone in the UK has over 1000 computers attached. A Very Note Worthy contribution, even internationally! Last night I made the top 6 in the UK - it took 106,247 points and a dip from a couple of others! [OT]The correct English would surely be barren rather than baron.[/OT]

Yesterday was an excellent day in CH. I finally have been able to do a triple Ace:
----------------------------------------Runtime: 1st Points: 1st Returned Results: 1st I am afraid this will not last, the score is too dependent of daily fluctuations. On the All-Time ranking since one month now: Runtime: 47th (lost 12 positions )Points: 19th (won 1 position )Returned Results: 29th (won 26 positions )![]() |

Excellent skgiven. You improve in all positions. My very negative result in runtime is really disappointing.
----------------------------------------Top 10 is a nice club to be in. Do not take a break. Now you have to move to a more exclusive club of hig flyers the TOP 5. Good luck. ![]() ![]() |

Not much chance of a top 5 UK spot any time soon! 5th spot gets at least twice the points back that I normally do, and I now have one less system.
----------------------------------------Some of them have many more systems than I had (and I will pass on more soon). One person has over 1000! You can't compete with that, Top UK Daily Points [Edit 1 times, last edit by skgiven at Jan 23, 2010 12:03:53 AM] |

Sorry for that. I am luckier in Switzerland.
---------------------------------------- This makes me think that we should split member categories in two. The FAMILY member The PROFESSIONAL member and then we have the Teams like today were we simply add members whatever the type. In the FAMILY category we have people like me with home based machines that are privately owned. In this way we will get a very fair competition between members in the same category. In the PRO category we have schools, universities, render farms, data centers, partner companies etc.. which contribute a lot but against which the FAMILY category stands no chance. I would be glad to here from Sekerob and uplinger their point of view here. It shouldn't be difficult to implement this and it will be much more motivating for members of the FAMILY category. ![]() |
