Wow it's been over 2 years in this thread.
----------------------------------------Glad I saw it I started laughing at the PPD of my old machines. Dione, Rhea, Calypso and Hyperion are all toast. I have new Einstein (forgot i was doing satelites) at about 37k Helene is still around at about 27K? Hyperion around 40K (i7 3770K) and Titan around 25+K but I'm about to do a makeover with an I7 3770K chip thrown in (its a i7 2500K currently) If I swap out the 2500K with the i7 930 similar points and half the energy. Have you considered selling the 980x machines and getting newer, cooler, less electricity cpus?  |
