I do have erlc_a015_ps0000_1 and I expect it to be finished in 1 -2 hours from this moment. Boinc is estimating on 1 hour and 3 minutes at the moment.
----------------------------------------Converted to UTC: 20:00 - 21:00. I hope the (gu)estimate of Boinc works ok in the last 2,5% to go. Edit 19:54 UTC: The WU is completed and returned. Since this was my only Beta WU, I hope to get a repair WU to crunch as well.
Greetings,

I have 25 cores, and 23 of them are processing Beta's. My fastest computer is expected to take approximately 47 hours for this beta (about 3 hours to go). My slowest computer is expected to take approximately 77 hours. Some people will take longer to return their beta's if they had some queued WU's to crunch before the Beta. |

BETA_ erlc_ a063_ ps0000_ 1--
Successfully completed 44 check points and should complete in about 6 more hours (about 0345 12/19 UTC) with a total of 52.6 hours real run time. Both wingmen copies are still in progress. On this Fedora 11 system, using 'top' command shows this WU using 202 MB physical and 544 MB virtual memory and is consistent. |

here are 4 random work units that i'm testing on one of my servers. Memory usage appears to be consistant.

WCG credits still suck! If it is any consolation, we very much appreciate the help provided by you, and all beta-testers, in debugging Phase 2 of DDDT (and indirectly, IADS-2). Your patience and perseverance in tackling these wild wooly workunits is admirable. We have had some bumps along the way, but together we continue to move into uncharted research territories. Here we expect to find new drug discovery approaches and novel cures for human disease. Best wishes to you and all World Community Grid members during this holiday season! Stan |

Stan The project is excellent and no offence against it, Stan. Phase 1 was my favorite. This BETA has been better than most here. However, let me give you just one example in the DC community. BOINC@AUSTRALIA has 3,347 members yet only 145 actively crunch WCG (0.43%). When we did an "Aussie Assault" for three weeks here a couple of months ago our team fell from 9th place to 11th place in world rank. Whether some crunchers like it or not, there are lot of reasons why we take the time and spend the significant amount of money necessary to keep crunching. There are badge hunters, credit hunters and team and member competitions. While we all do it in the hope for great results, this, for me and thousands of others, keeps things interesting. Otherwise crunching is a bit like watching grass grow. Most who crunch outside of WCG know that their "credits suck". Still WCG continues to miss the opportunity to attract more of the 1.7 million world wide who are willing to do this much needed work. Happy Holidays to you Stan and the DDDT and IADS project members. Keep up the fine work. |
