Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

As promised

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013...an-there-is-worse-to-come

with just a dash of population control and a hint of racism

As predictable as day follows night

BBC Newsnight the same

"but the inexorable rise of the global thermometer is nevertheless an indicator of worse to come" is hyperbole of the worst kind

n.b, There hasn't been any Global Warming for 16 years

This is why my website is so important and the data it keeps so valuable. It's the only way to fight back against this fearmongering and to recapture the truth and our lives.

Mum bought a candle this week. She said in the 70's the price of candles went through the roof.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Not a new religious cult?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/on-faith/...of-climate-change-denial/

Hello World

This is the 21st Century isn't it?

Just checking wink

Pretty sure Hurricanes are due to the combination of the coriolis effect http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeY9tY9vKgs
warm tropical ocean's causing convection currents and the evaporation and condensation of water in our atmosphere all driven by the seasonal changes in day length and consequently Solar input which is due to the Earth's 23.5 degree tilt with respect to our local star with conducive jetstreams to drive them along.

You can see all this happening here

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/wo...mp;map=tropicalMercatorIR

But if you want to believe that Hurricanes are caused by you keeping warm on a cold winters night and that you could stop any of the above by sitting in the cold and dark or not driving your car, then please don't let me prevent you believing the suffering in the Philippines is caused by angry climate God's.

The suffering in the Philippines is/was caused by inadequate shelter in the face of regular tropical storms

This will not be changed by you remaining there in the dark.

I'll say again Globally Hurricane activity is below average this year

This is an observed fact.

Not sure what the Washington Post is trying to say but maybe just maybe time travel was after all invented in the 10th Century and the transfer from quill to keyboard was an easy one

Who needs a Biro anyway ?

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

While we suffer the hype

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2013/n...ate-change-typhoon-haiyan

Think on

There hasn't been any warming for the last 16 years

The Central England Temperature stubbornly refuses to shift from 2 hundredths of a degree below normal

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/hadobs/hadcet/cet_info_mean.html

2 hundredths of a degree below normal

We have had more Sea Ice at the Poles this year than any year since 1996

and we have had the quietest North Atlantic Hurricane Season since 1977

When is there going to be any reference to the facts ?

When?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typhoons_in_the_Philippines

have always happened

Why open the Pandora's Box named Climate Change each time with the threat this is just the tip of the iceberg !

Why can't we just help each other when these things happen and make sure we are better prepared for the next time

There will be a next time - that's down to Physics and Geography

Not the Bogeyman they call Climate Change

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/snowandski/...o-open-13-days-early.html

"A statement from Whistler said: "Thanks to oodles of snow, Whistler Mountain will open 13 days early this season"

Just to back up that we've got greater than an "India" amount of extra snow for October 2013. That is only being added to

http://climate.rutgers.edu/snowcover/table_rankings.php?ui_set=1#namgnld

Oodles

http://www.ijis.iarc.uaf.edu/cgi-bin/seaice-monitor.cgi?lang=e

Just a Belize less than a USA

- the Sea Ice at the North Pole

Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize Speech claim of an Ice free Pole "could happen in as little as 7 years.

Seven years from now."

back in 2007, now looks more and more ridiculous
