The rush for Solar is on account of the Feed in Tariff
----------------------------------------They get paid more than the going rate per KWh they generate so it's a good investment returned as an increment to every UK Electricity Bill But none pays so well, of the back of every UK Electricity Bill payer as this http://www.platts.com/latest-news/electric-po...ing-deal-for-edf-26413421 ![]() |

The October 2013 result is in and the average temperature from 2438 NOAA Weather Stations around the Globe was 13.44C
---------------------------------------- The average temperature November 2012 through to the end of October 2013 was 12.388C Here's another forum friendly sized graph that updates hourly ![]() The graph above is (at this moment in time) the result of 62,718,052 individual temperature measurements taken around the Globe from NOAA Weather Stations since the beginning of 2011 ![]() The temperature data is now distinctly preliminary. I was going to get this sorted out this month but then the USA decided to shut down for a couple of weeks which blew a big hole in those plans as they bizarrely shut down their weather stations while continuing to collect data from the rest of the World (!!!) and then I've moved (again) So ..... Roll on next month (Don't worry I have all the raw data from the weather stations - when they are allowed to run - this will always remain as the raw record of reality to be presented correctly when I get the time ) Dave ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Nov 1, 2013 7:47:57 AM] |

If I was to claim that globally there's currently more than a whole Italy of Sea Ice Area extra, over and above the 1979 to 2008 average.

----------------------------------------Approaching the end of 2013 the current anomaly (the difference in degrees C from the 1961-90 average) is -0.02 2 hundredths of a degree C below absolutely normal So as close as makes no difference from absolutely typical You can just see 2013 peeking out below the 0 line ![]() [Edit 2 times, last edit by David Autumns at Nov 3, 2013 8:02:50 AM] |
