Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Ah marvellous

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-15207268

1,000,000,000 quid required from the public purse to bury the source material for all food sources on the Planet underground

What a truly inspired idea

d oh

If someone had told you 15 years ago that they were going to pump one of the constituents of air underground and the company responsible was expecting to take 1 Billion Pounds from the treasury for the privilege.

You would have called them mad

Tell me. What changed?

If it keeps on things will get much worse--especially in the US--looks as if they are trying to provoke a revolution--

These reports make me smile - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-15199065

always with the caveat - "The researchers emphasise there is no impact on global warming."

We keep getting Occam's razor thrown at us. It's time to throw it back

What do you think controls Global Temperature ?

Hint - it's not the 0.0389% of the atmosphere that is CO2

That's for sure cool

biggrin

Anyone know of any other data sets to replace Aqua's AMSR?
http://wwwghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/AMSR/

Without it they could tell us anything

Surely you are not saying the sun has any influence on the climate?

Dimwitted NASA Scientist Can’t Read His Own Maps Well, it doesn’t come as a huge surprise to see this statement from NASA’s James Hansen, perhaps the top climate scientist in the world. But it’s a statement we seem to keep ignoring. Here’s the statement I’m referring to:-- http://www.real-science.com/dimwitted-nasa-scientist-read-maps

“Climate change — human-made global warming — is happening. It is already having noticeable impacts…. If we stay on with business as usual, the southern U.S. will become almost uninhabitable.” http://planetsave.com/2011/10/04/nasa-top-cli...uld-become-uninhabitable/
