I might move there Gerald
----------------------------------------Ours is £1.36/9 a litre across the road which is $8.07 a US Gallon at today's exchange rate This is why I don't buy any directly anymore but that cost is bundled into everything we need to have delivered which, given the way of the world today, is .... everything Today we have had our Summer, much too late, but today we broke all the temperature records for an October It's been glorious 26C It must be Global Warming In just over a week it will be 2C overnight It must be Global Cooling Or it might just be our wonderfully unpredictable weather Here's a thing http://nsidc.org/data/seaice_index/images/daily_images/S_timeseries.png We are constantly told that the Polar Ice Caps are disappearing Are they really? (Just thought I make my posts look a little different )![]() |

Britain bakes in hottest October 1 in 100 years
----------------------------------------http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-20436...s-days-sunshine-come.html ot on the heels of the warmest end to September on record, yesterday has officially been declared Britain’s most scorching October day in more than a century. Just four weeks before the clocks go back for winter, Britain is in the middle of an Indian summer like no other with sizzling temperatures expected to continue into early next week. Senior meteorologist with MeteoGroup confirmed the day's top temperature of 30c (86f) in Yorkshire with Gravesend, Kent not far behind reaching 29.9c (85.82f). The hottest day prior to yesterday's sweltering heat was June 27 when highs of 33.3c (91.9f) were set at the Olympic Park in London.

Yep retsof and off the back of the coldest December in 120 years (only 1890 being colder in the last 352) and the coldest Summer since 1988 (JJA ranked joint 94th out of the last 353 - i.e. 259 Summers in the last 353 have been warmer)
----------------------------------------The point is... the UK weather is unpredictable at the whim of the Gulf Stream and the Jet Stream It's why we Brits are so fascinated by the weather But 2 days in October being unusually warm does not make Man Made Global Warming any more real --- Still there is no stopping the runaway train that is the alleged Man Made Global Warming despite any evidence to the contrary http://www.ukcip.org.uk/climate-digest/cd-october-2011/ ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Oct 4, 2011 2:32:34 PM] |

Here's a challenge
----------------------------------------http://spectator.org/archives/2011/10/04/warmists-think-were-stupid/ Have a read of this If you can contain the belly laugh and maintain a miserable persona throughout this piece.... Then there really is no hope ![]() ![]() |

The only thing real about Man Made Global Warming is that it is the convenient excuse to push these as acceptable to the gullible
----------------------------------------http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-10-nuclear-power-essential-emissions-uk.html and shut down the alternatives to producing power effectively and cheaply That's the only thing that is true about Al's scam (see first post and title of thread) ![]() |
