Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Hey David Autumns, more on the little trick box of Spencer...

http://scienceblogs.com/stoat/2011/07/spencer_and_the_mystery_journa.php

He, Spencer, quoted to have written:
Given the history of the IPCC gatekeepers in trying to kill journal papers that don't agree with their politically-skewed interpretations of science (also see here, here, here, here), I hope you will forgive me holding off for on giving the name of the journal until it is actually published.

See, he gets to publish rubbish, and the Editor in Chief, after the fact discovering that the reviewers [proposed by "guess who" it seems] on a new topic to the magazine did not know the prior literature on the topic either... he quit. That man has spine and integrity. They're sure to not publishing more of Dr. Roy.
[Update: rumour suggests that Spencer isn't doing well: his journal-of-choice is rumoured to be Remote Sensing, which looks to be too new to trouble itself about trivia like impact factors.]

See it cost Roy 500 Swiss Franc equivalent to get it in. Great job at "refining knowledge", to be never heard of again (but on Roy's blog of course, and Watts/Goddard's). A true Galileo gambit.

Quote of the day from Rick Perry, pre-primary candidate to become president of the United States of America:
“I’ll tell you one thing: The EPA officials we have an opportunity to put in place, they’re going to be pro-business, and there’s not going to be any apologies to anybody about it,” he said. “Those agencies won’t know what hit ‘em.”

Lest we forget that the EPA declared CO2 a pollutant. Genious. Guess they don't know that life on this planet would not exist without it.
If Perry choses to clean house if elected I say more power to him.

Genius or Genious? It was using the laws and regulations to put controls and pricetag on the output, ''pollutant'' term merely a vehicle to facilitate... did we not ... yes, circular. Whether Perry gets there... doubt it very much. The sanest of them all of present GOP prospectives is Mitt Romney. Someone talked out of school after leaving the GOP ''cult'' as it was headlined: http://www.truth-out.org/goodbye-all-reflecti...-who-left-cult/1314907779

Having to have a campaign fund of 1 billion USD to be even in the running, proofs to me how totally bankrupt the US ''democratic'' system has become. It's the guy with the biggest wallet to get into 1600 Pennsylvania. Then another puppet will be placed, and if not having the puppeteering, a new one will be roped in for next term. When voting time comes, people will figure it out. 15 months to go... another Florida spoof wont happen a second time.

Try look up how much aerosols humanity is putting into the atmosphere, some referred to as Atmospheric Brown Clouds. When we clean up act, you'll be seeing the full flex of CO2 and the damage done to the ozone layer. Volcanic effects [if erupting at the right latitudes you no doubt remember to have been told here multiple times, last just a few years. Not even Mnt St. Helen had any effect of significance. Read up on Chichon '82 and Pinatubo '91 to fill your evening.

Next ''root cause'' plz, an original preferably... wisps of wind.

P.S. For Texans, Rick Perry seems to have fired 75% of the firefighting capacity and seems now to cry for help by Washington for “No One on the Face of This Earth has Ever Fought Fires in These Extreme Conditions”.

As for Rick Perry, he needs to see the wildfires that hit Australia, California, Montana, Washington, etc. It always seems more extreme when it's closer to home.

The fires have always been there and most likely always will be, the difference is now we're living in their path.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

At every tabacchi there's a battery container and old cloth containers are at select parking spots and malls. We can call for any home equipment/appliances to be collected and they'll come and fetch it within 48 hours. By law, if you buy a new fridge, the old fridge has to be taken back for save disposal and removal of the coolant [ozone layer damaging]. And surprise, there's actually money made with all of this recycling effort and it gives a good feel too, to have actively contributed to preserving the environment and the worlds finite resources. ------------------------------------Well i really agree with recycling and in our area we do a pretty good job--the amount of garbage generated is astounding sad

Thanks for the spelling lesson. That website is beyond total BS.

Agree. It's all about money. Just like MMGW. As for the Fla. comment, you really have no clue.
