Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Just think marysduby how many Cloud Condensation Nuclei would be removed from the atmosphere if the EPA carry out their actions.

Then the place would be one big dust bowl, due to the reduced rainfall, and then not only would people starve they would also be fined for dusting up the place.

Excellent Job EPA. Keep it up. Just when you thought labelling the gas responsible for all food and consequently all life on earth as a pollutant was the most ridiculous thing they could come up with.

Wow. This may possibly be one of the worst examples of 'slippery slope' I have ever heard.

Any more pointless comment Eso? You should try the Bilderberg angle again or maybe the tin foil hat. You haven't used those useless props for at least a page now. You could try attacking my scientific understanding on grounds of my faith. That one always goes down well with your audience.

Pointless? Let's see. EPA regulating CO2 --> the earth becomes a dust bowl --> everyone starves.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slippery_slope

a slippery slope is a classical informal fallacy. A slippery slope argument states that a relatively small first step inevitably leads to a chain of related events culminating in some significant impact, much like an object given a small push over the edge of a slope sliding all the way to the bottom.

Yep, I think that qualifies. And you're the one who brought up the Bilderberg group (among others: Davos, Illuminati, Freemasons) as the secret henchmen behind AGW and everything else. I've just repeated it.

P.S. I don't believe I have ever said anything about your faith and any relation to scientific understanding.

Science is so powerful that it will drag you kicking and screaming towards the inconvenient truth despite your best efforts to avoid it!

Don't worry eso, you haven't. That was just a form of vindictive and personal attack, couched in such term to pass the wary eyes of the Forum rules enforcers.

Actually it is a double shot as it is a fine attempt at misdirection in an attempt to lure you from the truth.

It snows in southern Brazil every winter, one commenter notes:

# Aces 2010-08-05 13:52
This is the largest snowfall in Brazil since 1994, that is, since the internet started becoming popular around the globe. That must be the reason most people ONLY NOW hear about snow in Brazil. But really... EVERY YEAR there are snows in southern Brazil (25 million people live in the 3 southernmost states)

This snowfall accumulated 30cm... it PALES in comparassion to snowfalls we had in the past. In 1879, two meters of snow fell in Vacaria. In 1957, 1.5 meters in São Joaquim.

Nowadays, we make international news with 30cm...
