Hey, slower computers keep more WUs in the mix, while still allowing the user(s) to attain badges, since they are based on work time and not results returned.

I have enough in my cache to get to Sapphire, so I've retasked the majority of PCs in my tiny fleet to IADS.

Sorry folks. After watching all afternoon yesterday messages that said "no work available" for us with the cache set at .75, I had to reset it at 5 days. We got the work then. We don't like to set the cache that high because it takes so long to get them done. That keeps other folks waiting for validation. Like I said sorry but we didn't want to run out this close to silver. But then again, so what if we did it's not all about the badges.

Just made Gold! Yay, now I can move on to IADS and hopefully make Ruby before it's over.

See my post on results per day through the tenth. Here the last 5 days including a Tuesday projection, based on morning count. Sep.10-09 8,532 Sep.11-09 8,009 Sep.12-09 8,448 Sep.13-09 8,710 Sep.14-09 7,601 Sep.15-09 7,001 Where it will start dipping fast is when the last new work has gone out. Suppose the multi-project crunchers are seeing a few again in their queue. Are the disk space requirements preventing making new CEP workunits available faster than the validations? |
