I'll be turning off CEP within 24 hours, that will free up a few hundred WU/day for the badge hunters! :) Good luck all!

8.1 days estimated left of new work. -Uplinger That's a really significant slow down. Two days wall clock only used 0.4 days of work unit supply! That implies something on the order of a 60% slowdown. I'll be contributing to this as I'm also slowly aborting work I no longer need. Edit: Oops! I think I just aborted too much work...I may end up three days short! ![]() If work was 1 day ago 8.5 days estimate and one day later what's left is 8.1 days estimate, it means the work of the original ~8.5 days estimate is now done in ~9.1 days. (8.1 NE +1 day already crunched). Does that make sense? Past weeks validations were: Sep.02-09 9,886 Sep.03-09 9,198 Sep.04-09 9,422 Sep.05-09 9,261 Sep.06-09 9,230 Sep.07-09 9,301 Sep.08-09 9,560 Sep.09-09 9,190 Sep.10-09 8,532

Please also keep in mind that my estimates are for work units going out. This is something that is not posted onto the website. In the past day we could of had many work units that had to be resent due to them being in progress to long or they were aborted or errors. These go into the daily hopper and decrease the number of new work units sent to members. Now my estimates are also based on how many have been unloaded and finished...so there is some correlation between the two. With a dynamic grid comes dynamic estimates :) and again they're just that, estimates.
9 hours ago the estimate was at 7.8... Thanks, -Uplinger |

Hi Trevor ... that is normal ... there are only so many WUs distributed for the CEP project over the course of a day so occasionally you will see that message but it is only temporary. Of course Phase One of this project will be done sending out new work in about 6 days so you might consider filling up your buffer if you want to get a badge :-)

I guess they ran out of WU's due to an overwhelming amount of badge hunters such as myself :-)

That may be enough for me to get a bronze badge, but it will be close.

Lasted a lot longer than I thought. Like me many must have dropped off CEP once they achieved their desired badge.

See my post on results per day through the tenth. Here the last 5 days including a Tuesday projection, based on morning count.
----------------------------------------Sep.10-09 8,532 Sep.11-09 8,009 Sep.12-09 8,448 Sep.13-09 8,710 Sep.14-09 7,601 Sep.15-09 7,001 Where it will start dipping fast is when the last new work has gone out. Suppose the multi-project crunchers are seeing a few again in their queue.
