Re: Final Batches of CEP Phase 1 have been loaded.

If you picked up 1105 today with the correct last batch being 1155, there are about 100,000 tasks still to send out. At a speed of 9-10k WU validation daily that would mean 10 days of work handout left, about September 15 or 16 round about when the last new work goes out. The validations have though slowed which is open to anyone's interpretation. The last 9 days were:

Aug.28-09 10,317
Aug.29-09 10,321
Aug.30-09 10,147
Aug.31-09 11,000
Sep.01-09 10,866
Sep.02-09 9,886
Sep.03-09 9,198
Sep.04-09 9,422
Sep.05-09 9,261

edit: batch not badge

Re: Final Batches of CEP Phase 1 have been loaded.

I've just brought up a Core2Duo with Ubuntu Jaunty for the final sprint to Sapphire. With a 5-day cache it should get me over the line, and then it's on to IADS for an Emerald before it goes dormant again.

I've done my 1/2 year and gone on to IADS, which is the best I can do on the current timeline.

My guess is that some have changed to suck up some workunits and get 10 days in their queue instead of 1, meaning that they wil have to wait longer for validations.

If the project lasted longer, the CEP validations would reach a steady state again, but it will be finished before then.

(I'm at 239 days with about 4pages in the cue so I'll make emerald for CEP)
Congrats on your emerald Steve.

Re: Final Batches of CEP Phase 1 have been loaded.

We are currently estimating about 8.5 days of new work to go out.

Thanks again!

Re: Final Batches of CEP Phase 1 have been loaded.

Thank you, Uplinger. That gives me a comfortable margin, barring catastrophic failure on my end.

Thank you Uplinger, I hope I will have enough time to get my green badge :)

Thank you for this confirmation. I have now included all of the other projects for which I am interested; no chance of reaching emerald for CEP.

Re: Final Batches of CEP Phase 1 have been loaded.

Some stressy accounting:

Mid Day Stats:
The Clean Energy Project 849,038 988 0:364:17:53:52

Pending Validation Result after Mid Day Stats

E001085_ 195C_ 009q0251e_ 1-- 632 Pending Validation 9/9/09 13:20:52 7.93 127.2 / 0.0

Target overshoot: 1 hour 40 minutes

But, is an Emerald year 365 days or 365.2465 days ... we'll know in 12 long hours, or longer if the wingman wants to keep me in suspense wink

Returned 30 tasks to the pool in the past 2 days, a client with buffering with ridiculous completion projection of 2:37 hours per task, when they were taking near 8 hours on average on the stock quad. Sorry for having held these away from the wanting (these will go only to the fast returners as reward) biggrin

PS: the spare # 31 in the buffer I've kept in hold, in case of that 0.2465 leap year day portion laughing
