Ah, I didn't know it was limited to 1. I changed mine to unlimited as well. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the tip!

18 ARP WU's are running on my computers right now. On my oldest machine, it will take 30 hours to complete a work unit.
---------------------------------------- . I am hoping for a bronze badge by tomorrow. I don't have any errors yet BTW. [Edit 1 times, last edit by thepeacemaker7 at Nov 5, 2019 4:25:19 AM] |

Good to hear that peacemaker. I am running my second one now. On this old 2011 PC, the first one took slightly under 22 hours. If this one finishes successfully, will try running two at a time. This PC is the one that the screws holding the I7 stock heat sink broke last Thanksgiving. I got a new redesigned heat sink installed back then, and this PC runs soooo cool now.

I think it'll be a while before I get a badge...lol
----------------------------------------The two WUs I got yesterday should finish in a little under five hours. I haven't gotten any others yet. |

Nice job, team! We have 670 results returned for the African Rainfall Project and almost 2 years total run time!

Nice job, team! We have 670 results returned for the African Rainfall Project and almost 2 years total run time! Cool! Some volunteers mentioned that they can't get ARP units. I haven't had that problem so far. |

I seem to get a couple every few days. Four total so far. I set my Cache for 2.5 extra days of work and limited MIP to 16 tasks at a time with ARP set to Unlimited. I only have one computer set for ARP out of three computers total but I'm not sure the other two could handle ARP very well.

I need 1 or 2 more ARP WUs to get a bronze badge. I have been running up to 2 at a time, with no noticeable degradation of my PC's performance. This is on my old 2011 vintage PC. I was thinking about kicking it up to 3 at a time, but with the new random times of distribution, getting 3 at a time is statistically an "unlikely event". (I was previously able to get WUs by playing the "eights game", but this is no longer possible). After I get the bronze badge, I'm just going back to all projects, and let 'er rip.
