Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

OK we are out now. I'm proud of the spirit in the end. Our match against Uruguay was extremely poor, so the system adopted for this match was a welcome change.

It is a pity France were just not there today. Every time South Africa had the ball they seemed to back off. They're probably on the plane back home already.

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

OK so we lost the game
Uruguay 1 Mexico 0 - The teams were pretty even and
Mexico miss several good oportunitiies
The good thing... we are going to the next round anyway
The bad thing ... our next game will be against Argentina

We have not yet qualified and we have to fight for that qualification with the same enthusiasm with which we have participated so far.!!
