Cameroon 1, Denmark 2
The best game so far. Both teams tried to win. 3 excellent goals. Lots of chances.

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

Phew. Holland-Japan was what we call "een bagger pot" (a lousy game).
But fortunately Sneijder scored. And after the fun game of Cameroon and Denmark we qualified for the 1/8 finals. smile

The interesting match of sunday will be Brazil - Ivory coast. Hoping to see some good football there.

Oh and Jean Pierre thanks for our national anthem, it brought tears to my eyes. crying wink

Re: 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa / Soccer Football Thread

Yes of course I'm happy. smile
Especially after those difficult matches. With opponents who lock them selfs up in their defence. Look at Germany, Spain and England. Even Brazil had a hard time against Korea DPR.
I think the real good matches will start the moment 1/8 finals begin.

Well off to watch Slovakia vs Paraguay in the first meeting ever between the two countries.
