The best game so far. Both teams tried to win. 3 excellent goals. Lots of chances. |

Phew. Holland-Japan was what we call "een bagger pot" (a lousy game).
But fortunately Sneijder scored. And after the fun game of Cameroon and Denmark we qualified for the 1/8 finals. The interesting match of sunday will be Brazil - Ivory coast. Hoping to see some good football there. Oh and Jean Pierre thanks for our national anthem, it brought tears to my eyes.   |

Yes of course I'm happy.
Especially after those difficult matches. With opponents who lock them selfs up in their defence. Look at Germany, Spain and England. Even Brazil had a hard time against Korea DPR. I think the real good matches will start the moment 1/8 finals begin. Well off to watch Slovakia vs Paraguay in the first meeting ever between the two countries. |
